High Pressure Bladder Molding System
Animation of the bladder molding process.
To build hollow parts it is often necessary to build an inflatable bladder which temporarily occupies the void within the part. We have designed several high pressure bladder systems for thin walled, hollow 3D structures. Our molds are typically created from aluminum molds with a minimum wall thickness of three inches. Molds are la id up, joined, placed in a safety cage, and then inflated to anywhere between 50-175psi. At these pressures mold integrity and epoxy viscosity play a key factor. Please contact us with your engineering challenge or next tooling project. We can quote from most common modeling software. Our services include full engineering, digital mold creation, CNC and finishing services.
Commonly used in these applications:
Hollow Tubes/Ducting
Any Hollow Structure
Laminates which requireextreme compacting

These aluminum Bladder Tools are typically heated to 175°F while at an amazing 200-300psi.
