Large Format CNC Machining

Carbon by Design has an in-house large format machining capability to deliver large structures with repeatability and accuracy using the same cost effective approach that has made our composite solutions so popular among our current customer base. Our large format Haas GR408 table moving gantry system is both highly accurate and flexible enough to hand the largest jobs. Work envelope is 4ft x 8ft x 2ft.

CNC TRIMMING

The best way to minimize assembly issues it to CNC trim as many composite components as possible. Our experience trimming has allowed us to build fixtures for repeatability of .003" accuracy on parts in excess of six feet in length.

PLC EQUIPMENT

Our experience has taught us the best built equipment is the equipment built in house. Our PLC; controlled manufacturing equipment was built by Carbon by Design for Carbon by Design.
