Inspired by a long and illustrious racing career, the WRX received its first complete redesign since arriving in the USA this year.  Carbon by Design is proud to be the first carbon fiber manufacturer to offer a beautiful carbon fiber hood for this car. 

It features fully rolled edges all around.  The plastic scoop insert was molded into the hood so it all integrated together, removing the lines that were previously there.  The inside of the hood has the same shape as the stock hood. The stock air ducting can be attached in order to ensure that the mighty boxer motor receives all the air to intercooler that it was designed to.  

Featured on the Subaru of America car at SEMA in 2007, our hood was well received and highly sought after since then.  We are now offering to the public what only limited tuning companies were able to purchase.

Our hoods are offered in two versions:

Fiberglass: A high-quality fiberglass hood with a full OEM inner, hinge plates and latching system. Includes the rolled edges found on the carbon fiber hood, as well as the chrome latch assemblies.

Carbon Fiber: Our 3K American Made Carbon Fiber Hood. This hood is manufactured with our Carbon-Core process and features a Ultra UV resistant clear coat. This hood is fully buffed and polished and has an excellent visual finish. The hood inner retains all of the factory reinforcements and retains air functionality and drain holes. These hoods include fully bonded aluminum hinge plates, which ensure a vibration free fitment. The inner is finished in a black gel coat, which can be left unpainted.


NOTE: This hood does not come with wiper nozzle holes. We recomend to install clip-on squirters to the windshield wipers. Thank you for your continued support of our products!
