Composite Product Design

Composite Product design from tooling to dropshipping.

When is the last time you worked with a company that was willing to take your project from conception to final package design? Does your current composites company offer innovative tooling options that will expedite the creation of your product? We know your prototyping requires a limited production run in a very short time table, in response we offer our digital prototyping services.

  • Digital modeling to explore conceptual designs at minimal cost
  • Rapid turn-around from digital model to Aluminum Tooling
  • Low Cost, high density foam prototypes
  • Affordable CNC mold creation with +/- .005 tolerances

We specialize in low to medium yield production runs, ranging from 25 - 25,000 units.

Building Strategic Partnerships

More important than the products we build, are the alliances we form with our manufacturing customers. We invite you to challenge our abilities, to let your creativity drive your next product line. Conventional composites boundaries are broken daily in our facility.

Our answer to your needs include, rapid tooling, died and colored carbon fabrics, advanced cored structures and meticulous digital design. We have partnered with many of the large format CNC facilities across the country to provide an unlimited capability to bring your project to life weather it be a small cover or fully assembled aircraft control surface.

Let us show you how we can design & manufacture your next composite product more effectively with a little help from technology. Please contact our engineering team for more information.

Our Customers Include:
  • Military/Department of Defense
  • Aviation/Aerospace
  • Automotive OEM/Aftermarket
  • Sand Rail and Off Road Markets
  • Boat and Yacht Manufactures
  • Musical Instrument Manufactures
  • Recreational/Sport Industries
Please contact us to discuss you design needs.

Processes
Over the course of the last year we have patented our unique manufacturing process which combines the surface luster of a hand laid part with the compaction and strength of a vacuum infusion product.

PRIM
Our proprietary process starts off much like a common hand laid part, then after lay up hydraulic pressure is used to force excess resin into a secondary material through on one way permeable layer. This process offers the strength of a VARTM product at the price point of a hand laid product. Also see: Flexible Carbon

VARTM
Commonly known as "vacuum infusion" is the predominant way of infusing a product under negative atmosphere. This process offers a solution in many circumstances where strength is a primary concern. Our VARTM parts retain 70% the strength of an autoclaved part without the autoclave!

Materials
In addition to our manufacturing process we offer a wide array of plastic and composite materials and finish options.

Tinted/Dyed Carbon Fiber
Our unique dying process allows us to change the color of carbon fiber from black to red, blue, copper and a myriad of other options. Pictured left is an example of a blue carbon fiber we produce for one of our customers.

Texallium./Stranded Aluminum
Texallium is a unique fiberglass based material which is created with the addition on millions of monofilament aluminum strands. This material simulated the look of woven aluminum. You'll find this material will make a impact on your customers.

Cored Structures
When the strength to weight ratio is a prime consideration a cored Structure is usually recommended. By blending distinct layers of strength and stiffness we can create amazingly strong structures which are extremely light weight.

Digital Product Creation

We will gladly design your product based upon your needs. Our engineering team will conduct an introductory conference call to fully understand your product need in order to get your project up and running in no time!

Aluminum Tools

High tolerance, precision parts often require aluminum or invar tooling. Both of these materials will return extremely accurate products every production cycle. Often tolerance of +/- .001" can be achieved using these tools.

Design Validation

We provide our customers with full stress and design analysis to determine the best possible way to manufacturing their product. Our software modeling allows us to determine any potential problems long before any tooling is created.
